We’ve created a proven process to guide you every step of the way.
At Chosen Estate Planning, we believe estate planning should feel clear, approachable, and empowering—not overwhelming. That’s why we’ve created a proven process to guide you every step of the way, from our first conversation to your completed plan.
We start with a 30-minute complimentary discovery call. This is a chance for us to learn about you, your goals, and your family—and for you to learn about us. We want to make sure we’re a good fit for each other before moving forward.
During this meeting, you’ll receive a personalized proposal outlining our flat fees and a breakdown of our process.
Once you decide to move ahead, we’ll schedule your estate planning design meeting with your attorney. This meeting can take place virtually via Zoom from the comfort of your home.
Together, we’ll design your estate plan—carefully tailoring every piece to meet your unique needs, goals, and wishes for your family.
After the design meeting, we’ll begin drafting your estate plan. Each document is prepared with care and then reviewed in detail by your attorney.
Once the draft plan is ready, we’ll share it with you for review. We encourage every client to read through their documents, and your attorney will be available by email or in a follow-up meeting to answer any questions. Our goal is for you to feel confident and comfortable with every detail.
Now it’s time to make your plan official! We’ll host a signing ceremony—either virtually or in our office. Independent notary services are also available to meet your needs.
Once your documents are signed, witnessed, and notarized, your estate plan is complete and legally binding.
For many clients, the final step includes updating account ownership, retitling assets, and adjusting beneficiary designations to align with the plan. We’ll provide you with clear instructions so that your estate plan isn’t just on paper—it works in real life.
Our process is designed to be straightforward, supportive, and effective. From our first call to your signing ceremony, you’ll have the guidance of an experienced attorney who understands that estate planning is about more than documents—it’s about protecting the ones you call home.
Schedule your Complimentary Discovery Call today and take the first step toward peace of mind.
